In Yosemite's backyard, where golden light filters through ancient oaks and the land hums with life, we're seeking a Waldorf-inspired outdoor educator to guide three young learners (ages 2.5-7) in a land-based learning journey.
Here, on our 30 acre property, nature is the classroom. Thriving pollinator and vegetable gardens offer small hands the chance to plant, harvest, and gather. Horses and donkeys graze peacefully, and the cycles of the seasons guide our days. This is an invitation to weave Waldorf's reverence for rhythm, beauty, hands-on-work, and connection to nature into an intimate outdoor learning experience.
What We're Looking For:
Waldorf early childhood training or deep familiarity with Waldorf pedagogy
Outdoor/nature-based education experience
Multi-age teaching background (nursery through early grades)
Understanding of rhythm, seasonal festivals, and nature-based curriculum
Comfort with farm animals and garden-based learning
Trauma-informed teaching approach (preferred)
BIPOC educators strongly encouraged to apply
