Wayfinders is a nature-based homeschool learning community located at Meadowstone Farm on Salt Spring Island. Rooted in Waldorf education and Forest School principles, we offer a part-time, mixed-age program for children ages 4–11 within a vibrant farm setting.
Children spend their days moving between Waldorf-inspired academic lessons and immersive outdoor learning, with the land itself acting as a central classroom. Mornings focus on literacy, numeracy, and artistic work, while afternoons are devoted to hands-on, place-based experiences such as gardening, building, and nature exploration.
Wayfinders is a collaborative, family-supported community, where educators, parents, and children work together to create a meaningful and connected learning environment. Our program emphasizes creativity, resilience, and real-world skills, while nurturing a deep relationship to nature and one another.
