Our homeschool group is looking for teachers and mentors!
Wayfinders is a collective of homeschooling families. Three days of the week, our children gather for a Waldorf and Forest School inspired program, to compliment their education at home. With the support of teachers and mentors, we are dedicated to building a village style learning community. Our program runs Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9am to 3pm.
TEACHER POSITION
We are seeking a teacher for grades 2-5 who can lead a class pod for the 2023-24 school year and beyond. The ideal candidate is a trained and experienced teacher with a background in Waldorf Education and Forest School models.
TEACHING ASSISTANT POSITION
We are also seeking a teaching assistant who can assist the grades 2-5 teacher and who can independently lead a group of up to 10 children in both indoor and outdoor settings. The ideal candidate is experienced in nature connection, forest school models, early childhood education, Waldorf education, and various arts/crafts/outdoor skills.
