Wild Roots Village is a Waldorf early childhood program rooted in a deep respect for Rudolf Steiner’s picture of human development and the unfolding of the young child. Located in the Taos, New Mexico area. Our program offers a calm, rhythm-filled environment where play, meaningful work, imitation, and connection to the natural world form the foundation of daily life.
We are committed to protecting the integrity of early childhood as a sacred stage of development. Our work is guided by reverence for the child, thoughtful observation, and an understanding of Anthroposophy as a living path that informs both pedagogy and inner work. Wild Roots Village seeks to cultivate a warm, home-like atmosphere that supports healthy will development, social harmony, and a strong sense of belonging for children and adults alike.
