Wildflowers, a small Waldorf Early Childhood Center in Boise, Idaho
Wildflowers began as a small, in-home Waldorf program in 2019, and we are now expanding to a center of up to 30 children at our new center. We purchased a half acre residential property earlier this year to renovate into a lovely Waldorf Early Childhood Center in a mature, beautiful part Boise a few minutes from downtown. The owners both have Waldorf early childhood degrees and are committed to bringing the beauty of Waldorf education to the Treasure Valley. They have founded several other Waldorf program in Peru and in Boise and are committed to growing a healthy and vibrant community for families. We hope to include in the future parent child classes and continue to meet the needs of our area families. We bring a mix of Spanish and English to our children.
Boise is an amazing place to live and work. We have 4 beautiful seasons with easy access to skiing, lakes and rivers and mountains. It's a beautiful place that has seen a lot of growth the past several years because of the beauty of the area, the large number of young families and its high quality of life with access to green spaces, cultural events and friendly community atmosphere.
Our newly built school sits on a half acre residential property with large mature trees and walking access to a beautiful park. It has a large green house and raised bed garden. We are a small, intimate community and we are excited about our expansion.
A member of WECAN and Lifeways we are committed to providing a rich Waldorf early childhood program for all our families and children. We have a small team of adults that form a supportive group, working together for the children in our care, encouraging one another to do their best work. We work to bring warmth and light to the children and families who seek us for their children.
