Willow Creek Waldorf Community School is a growing and innovative learning environment founded by educators with backgrounds in Waldorf and experiential education. The wheelie life school currently serves approximately 120 students from preschool through sixth grade and is supported by a close-knit team of teachers and staff in a suburban setting.

Willow Creek is reimagining Waldorf education by responding thoughtfully to the needs of today’s children and families. A central outcome of this work is the development of a strong nature-based and outdoor learning program. Students spend several days each week in indoor classrooms, complemented by regular learning days at a nearby nature preserve, community garden, and local green spaces. Core lessons take place indoors, while additional time is dedicated to outdoor exploration, hands-on projects, and field experiences.
