City of Lakes Waldorf School seeks a full time Waldorf Movement and Games Teacher for the 2023-24 school year beginning December 1, 2023. The teacher will be responsible for providing instruction to children (first through eighth grade) in movement education. The ideal applicant will be an experienced elementary and middle school movement /physical education teacher who demonstrates an understanding of childhood development and experience leading age appropriate movement, dance, and/or athletic activities. Additional experience with the following activities would also be ideal: Spacial Dynamics, Bothmer Gymnastics, traditional dances, and the circus arts and has completed a bachelor’s degree. A love of children and teaching, and a knowledge of (or interest in) Waldorf education is required. We seek a teacher who has excellent organizational, interpersonal and classroom management skills and who is committed to educational equity and inclusion.  Our Movement and Games position is considered 100% of full time with commensurate benefits.

Qualifications and Benefits

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of teaching experience.
