Early Childhood Assistant Teacher
The Cincinnati Waldorf School is currently seeking applicants for Early Childhood Assistant Teacher. This position is hourly and assistants are on duty for approximately 30 hours per week, working collaboratively with our Preschool and Kindergarten Lead Teachers. The base wage is $15/hour and this is a benefits-eligible position. The ideal candidate will have experience and comfort working with 3-6 year old children and will be calm, compassionate, reliable, and self-motivated.
We value excellent skills in teaching, classroom management, communication, and collegial and parent relationships, as well as depth in understanding of students and their development. We seek educators who understand and work with the Waldorf curriculum, bring enthusiasm to build community, and participate fully in our rich festival life.
