Early Childhood Coordinator
The Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork is seeking candidates to serve as Early Childhood Coordinator starting summer 2024
As a member of the school administration, the Early Childhood Coordinator shares the vision of collaborative leadership, creating an environment of stability and balance that allows the school to fulfill its mission and each member of the staff to fulfill their responsibilities. The Early Childhood Coordinator ensures that the early childhood programs meet the social, emotional, health and academic needs of the students; ensures compliance with all State of Colorado Department of Human Services licensing requirements; works directly with the Faculty Administrator on personnel hiring and other duties directed by the Faculty Administrator; directly mentors the early childhood faculty; works closely with the Administrative Council to implement strategic plans related to the future growth and development of early childhood programs; and works closely with the Enrollment Coordinator for the continued growth of the overall program.
Our Early Childhood programs serve families and students from parent-child classes through to kindergarten. Our staff is currently made up of six lead teachers, eight full time assistant teachers and seven hourly assistants. Working together in unison has been a critical component of the success of our programs. We seek individuals who are charismatic, can communicate well and see childhood as a time of great opportunity and fun!
An Early Childhood Coordinator candidate will have a background and training in early childhood, ideally with Waldorf early childhood training, and a strong ability to work joyfully and diligently with young children and adults. The selected candidate will need to possess Early Childhood Director certification for large center as required by the State of Colorado.
This is a salaried, full time, year round position, offering full benefits including tuition remission (toddler program excepted), with an annual expected salary range of $57,000-$69,000.
