Aurora Waldorf School is accepting applications for a full-time Pre-K/Kindergarten Teacher. Due to increased enrollment applications, we plan to open a third multi-age, combined Pre-K/Kindergarten with 16 students aged 4 - 6 for 2024-25. Contingent on enrollment, this 1-year position, July 2024 - June 2025, could be extended. The position commences on July 1, 2024.
This class will meet Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Hours for the Teacher will be 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional weeknight or weekend work for parent meetings and school activities. There are also weekly meetings and twice-yearly workdays, some of which end at 4:30 p.m. Faculty workdays are at the end of August and mid-June. School begins in September and ends in June.
The ideal candidate will have a Waldorf Teacher Training certificate, experience as a Kindergarten or PRe-K lead classroom teacher, preferably in a Waldorf school, a Master’s Degree in a subject area, or equivalent professional experience and CPR/First Aid certification.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to teach to a variety of ages and skill levels. More details will be shared with candidates in the interview process.

Starting annual salary is $31,000.
