Part-time Pedagogical Eurythmy Teacher
Seeking Part-time Pedagogical Eurythmy Teacher for 2022-2023
Gathering Waters is a new K-12 charter school guided by the core principles of public Waldorf education. We opened our doors in September 2021 for grades K-9, and will add a grade to our growing high school each year. The mission of Gathering Waters Chartered Public School is to offer students an education that enables them to discover their interests and capabilities; explore the surrounding world; and cultivate a lifelong love of learning, a sense of community responsibility and understanding of environmental sustainability. We seek a certified special educator who will make the school’s mission accessible to all students in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire.
Gathering Waters School seeks Part-time Pedagogical Eurythmy candidates with proven teaching experience and a pioneering spirit who are excited to collaboratively build our school. The Gathering Waters School offers a full Kindergarten through High School eurythmy program. There are also opportunities for various therapeutic eurythmy offerings if candidates come with that specific training. With two campuses we have two designated eurythmy rooms. We have an accomplished pianist to accompany all eurythmy classes in all grades. With a rich history of Waldorf education and anthroposophical study in the area, opportunities for artistic eurythmy work and professional development are available. The ideal candidate has completed Waldorf teacher training and has three years successful Waldorf teaching experience.

Our region is uniquely situated to support a Waldorf-inspired charter with a wealth of knowledge and resources that are already established here, including two Waldorf teacher training programs, Antioch University-New England and The Center for Anthroposophy. Families move to the Keene area from all over the country because of the presence of organizations inspired by the philosophy that stands behind Waldorf education, including Monadnock Waldorf School, High Mowing School, Sophia’s Hearth Family Center in Keene, Camp Glenbrook in Marlborough, Kroka Expeditions in Marlow, and Badger Corporation in Gilsum. Southwestern New Hampshire is home to a well-established community that is ready and eager to support a Waldorf-inspired chartered public school and with whom we welcome the opportunity to partner.
