Tucson Waldorf School is Seeking a Waldorf Certified Early Childhood Lead Teacher for the 2022/23 school year
We are seeking a Waldorf-certified early childhood lead teacher to join our dedicated faculty. Our early childhood teachers are committed to working out of anthroposophy, supporting the healthy development of the young child, and supporting one another in our personal development.
Founded in 1993, TWS is a full member school of AWSNA, and the only independent Waldorf school encompassing early childhood through Grade 8 in Arizona. Our faculty is committed to working out of Anthroposophy in support of the developing child. We have a strong vision and work collaboratively to bring the best to our students and their families.
We offer 5 mixed-age early childhood classes with children ages 2-6 in each class and Grades 1-8, serving over 180 students and their families; many more families with very young children come to participate in weekly parent-child classes held on campus. We have a dedicated community of parents, faculty, staff, and alumnae. Since 2008, we have been situated on an almost 10-acre site in a rural historic district of north-central Tucson. The property is an old horse ranch with endless possibilities. We are continuously developing our site, looking to meet the needs of our growing school.
