The Waldorf School of Philadelphia is actively seeking a pedagogical eurythmist to lead classes from Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. We invite candidates to join a community that embraces and understands the importance of eurythmy. As our new Eurythmy Teacher, we will invest in your professional development through mentorship, faculty collaboration and collegiality, and by training during the summer months. 

The opportunity is a full time position but consideration will be given to modifying the terms to fit the right candidate. Our historic Frank Furness campus includes a dedicated eurythmy studio, complete with vaulted ceilings and sprung floor. The piano and pianist also await your arrival.

About You

You’re a trained pedagogical eurythmist from an accredited Eurythmy Training Center. You have experience with or a strong desire to learn about Waldorf Education.

Perhaps you are an experienced teacher looking for a change? Maybe you have completed or about to complete your eurythmy training. You are looking for a place to call home, to plant deep roots, to practice your craft. You are passionate about equity, justice, and inclusion and you actively support the building of diverse communities where everyone can belong. You’ll base your teaching practice on the ever-evolving needs of children of our time and place.
