Waldorf School at Moraine Farm is seeking a creative, energetic, organized and technologically capable individual to serve as the Admissions Director. Reporting to the School Director, the Admissions Director is responsible for enrollment of new students and families and providing a welcoming, informed gateway to Waldorf School at Moraine Farm. The Admissions Director plays a critical role in accurately representing and articulating the mission, curriculum, and methods of Waldorf School at Moraine Farm. This position is full time.
Our school, now in its 36th year, is a full member of AWSNA, AISNE and WECAN. Our school has over 100 children enrolled in nursery through eighth grade. Children in grades one through eight participate in several subject classes, including Physical Education, Music (Strings and Orchestra), Handwork, and Foreign Language. Our Early Childhood program includes kindergarten, nursery and parent & child classes.
Our faculty is a diverse mix of both new and experienced teachers. We are committed to faculty support and development and provide ongoing mentoring and regular evaluation. We enjoy strong collaborative relationships among our Faculty, Administrators, Board, and parents. We are located in a picturesque area just north of Boston, Massachusetts. Responsibilities: ● Manage the process of bringing in new families from first inquiry to matriculation ● Work with Business Manager to coordinate admissions and re-enrollment processes ● Work with the Marketing Director to attract prospective families ● Work with the school to achieve and maintain full enrollment ● Collect and maintain data on enrollment activity to inform budgeting and marketing ● Manage registration for the Parent & Child classes ● Oversee development of annual admissions events calendar ● Oversee and implement all admissions events and outreach
Minimum Requirements: ● Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college or university ● Ability to articulate the experience and goals of Waldorf education and the school’s mission ● At least three years’ experience working in Admissions or related field ● Strong interpersonal, communication, writing and organizational skills Preferred Requirements: ● An interest in and ongoing study of Waldorf pedagogy ● Ability to manage multiple projects ● Strong strategic, analytical and organizational skills ● Experience in MS Word, Excel and database software ● Outgoing, enthusiastic, informed, warm, and friendly presence ● Commitment to working well with others as a team player ● Openness to working with a wide range of prospective parenting styles and beliefs
