World Language Teacher
The Waldorf School of Tampa Bay (WSTB) is experiencing tremendous growth and seeking a World Language (German, preferred) teacher that can teach in our Grades program beginning in August of the 2022-23 school year.
WSTB is a 24-year old, AWSNA-member school serving ages 3 through Grade 8 on a forested campus, in an urban, seaside location near Clearwater and Palm Harbor, Florida. Even with the pandemic, WSTB has been consistently open and teaching in-person, on-campus classes using a combination of outdoor and indoor classrooms.
Fluency in the language is a must. Our preferred candidate is a native speaker with World Language Waldorf certification who has experience teaching immersion-style, especially in a Waldorf environment, a demonstrated ability to craft a developmentally appropriate world language curriculum for groups of children ages 7-14, a deep understanding of child development and a love of working with young children. An interest in anthroposophy (the wisdom of the human being) is preferred. Any language other than Spanish (already taught and staffed) would be considered.
Interested candidates should visit our website's Job Page, and send their resume, three references, and a cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org.
