Bright Water Waldorf School - Fourth Grade Teacher 2023-24

Bright Water Waldorf School is looking for creative, energetic, innovative, Waldorf trained first and fourth grade teachers for the 2023-2024 school year. Our faculty and staff look forward to welcoming new colleagues!

Our School:

We are a 24 year old school, intentionally small, and reinvigorating ourselves. Last year, we moved to the Japanese Cultural and Community Center in the International District of Seattle. We work purposefully with DEI goals and collaboratively with our dedicated parents and board members to create a school that has a cooperative nonhierarchical structure. All of our teachers and staff participate in weekly College of Teachers meetings.

Bright Water values professional development and utilizes peer mentorship and goal setting for the school year. Every teacher is supported throughout the year with either an experienced teacher as a mentor or a peer mentor.

Bright Water is a full member of AWSNA and we teach Japanese as well as Aikido, movement, violin, band, handwork, woodwork, environmental education and Spanish.
