High School Life Science and Math teacher
Pasadena Waldorf High School is seeking a part-time teacher to carry morning lesson blocks in either Organic and Inorganic Chemistry Or in the Life Sciences main lessons (cell biology, botany, zoology) (12-16 periods of teaching per block) in addition to carrying year-long instruction in Geometry (3 class periods per week.) Other duties include; participation in occasional extra duty and substitution rosters, attendance at occasional student events after school, and active participation in the school’s outreach and enrollment events.
We are most interested to find dynamic and engaging experienced high school teachers who are excited to connect with our students, have a history of work with adolescents, demonstrated strengths in classroom management and who are open to learning about the fundamentals of teaching in a Waldorf school. Prior experience with Waldorf education is a plus.
