High School Art Teacher
The Waldorf School of San Diego (WSSD) High School is seeking an experienced high school art teacher with strong leadership capacities. We welcome resumes for the ’23 – ’24 school year. WSSD High School is a continuation of our well-established lower schools (Kindergarten and Grades) in the larger San Diego area. Our campus is located in a culturally diverse urban setting of City Heights that is within walking distance of the lower school campus and within 10 miles of the Pacific Ocean. The faculty works collaboratively, and all of our full-time teachers are fully trained in Waldorf Education.
WSSD High School is looking for a high school art teacher with prior Waldorf teaching experience to join our faculty. The fine arts and performing arts live strongly in the student body. The ideal candidate would hold a bachelor’s degree and certification in Waldorf education, have significant teaching experience at a Waldorf High School and have demonstrated leadership or other professional skills. This individual will be ready to teach their own specialties within the broad Waldorf art curriculum and oversee our entire art department, including several part-time specialist art instructors.
We offer a salary with increments for training and experience, tuition remission, a health care plan, and 401K with matching contribution for full-time faculty.
$54,006 - $63,306 Annual (BOE)
