Parent-Child classes provide an opportunity for parents to learn about Waldorf pedagogy and to apply these principles in their homes. Classes also provide opportunities for adult socialization and support. Young students will enjoy joyful circle-time experiences that support healthy development as well as opportunities for imaginative play and socialization. The Parent-Child class teacher will be responsible for coordinating the play activities in class for children ages 1-3 yrs old. Activities include imaginative play, circle time, and story time. The teacher also provides craft activities and parenting study topics for the parents. Candidate must have completed Waldorf Early Childhood training or possess extended experience teaching Parent-Child or Early Childhood classes in an accredited Waldorf School or homecare setting. This teacher will work closely with, and be supported by colleagues, to provide a specific curriculum geared towards encouraging healthy movements for children and healthy parenting tools for adults.

$25.96 - $30.44 per hour (BOE)

Minimum hours 4 per week. Classes are in demand and opportunities for growth are expected.
