Early Childhood Assistant; a full time, hourly position

Our Early Childhood programs include Parent/Child, Preschool, and Kindergarten classes. Responsibilities:
Provide afternoon care that includes lunch, nap, supervision of outdoor play, etc., for early childhood children as directed by lead teachers
Assist teachers in maintaining healthy and orderly classroom environments
Communicate regularly with lead teachers
Participate in a professional development process as indicated by the school
Work collaboratively with other faculty and administrators, as well as the parent community, to create an educational environment that is aligned with the school mission and value
Participate in required faculty meetings
Qualifications:
Priority will be given to those who are in Waldorf Early Childhood teacher training
Experience with or willingness to learn about Waldorf education and curriculum is highly desired
Experience working with groups of children is highly desired
Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
Positive and effective communication skills
Ability to work supportively and in collaboration with colleagues
Reliable, punctual, well-organized, and efficient
