Our school is located on a beautiful 11-acre campus in the heart of Marin County, California, just 30 minutes from the city of San Francisco. Our county is renowned for its beaches, countryside, and giant Redwood trees and Marin’s residents are dedicated to preserving the natural splendor of this region. Consequently, our unspoiled coastline is protected by thousands of acres of parkland and is one of the most desirable areas to live in the United States.

Our school serves approximately 220 students and encompasses a parent/toddler program, two preschools, two kindergartens, a first through fifth grade lower school, and a sixth through eighth grade middle school. Our campus provides our students with the use of a beautiful oak grove, a biodynamic garden, a large green playing field, three separate outdoor play areas for preschool, kindergarten and the grades, as well as a library and a woodwork room. We have large, well-supplied classrooms for all of our students as well as dedicated classrooms for music and handwork. Along with woodwork, handwork, and music (instrumental, orchestral & choir), our expanded curriculum includes physical education, gardening, eurythmy, and Mandarin.

We value strong colleagueship and warm relationships with parents. We have excellent teachers, an active parent association, and a strong board of trustees. MWS is a fully accredited member of AWSNA.

Please submit your resume, along with three references that we may contact by phone and/or email and a cover letter, highlighting your teaching experience, life experience, qualifications and strengths to jobs@marinwaldorf.org.
