Foreign Language Teacher - Part-Time, Hourly
The Waldorf School of St. Louis is looking for a qualified foreign language teacher for the 2023 - 2024 school year. Responsibilities include teaching eight, 40-minute classes per week to four, combined grade-level classes. The foreign language teacher participates in lesson planning and report writing for grades 1-8, and collaborates with the lead teachers of those classes.
Qualified candidates possess an understanding of Waldorf education and curriculum or a willingness to learn. Candidates should be creative and willing to teach outdoors in all weather conditions. Movement and art are integral parts of the school day. All teachers work to provide these activities throughout their lessons.
