Eurythmy & Dance Education Teacher
The Vancouver Waldorf School is seeking a Full-Time Eurythmy/Dance Teacher. The available position could include Early Childhood, Grade school, and High school classes.
The applicant must have a degree in Eurythmy from an accredited Anthroposophical Institution, and be able to acquire a BC Teaching Certificate upon hire. Waldorf classroom teaching experience is preferred, and the applicant will be expected to prepare lesson plans per the Waldorf and BC Ministry of Education curriculums. Mentoring will be provided. The applicant must have the ability to work with children with a range of abilities across different age groups. In addition to teaching, other duties will include:
- recess supervision
- committee work
- attendance at section meetings and full faculty meetings
- regular professional development
- report writing and parent meetings
The Vancouver Waldorf School has a long-standing, positive relationship with Eurythmy, and is committed to fostering a continued appreciation for Eurythmy in its curriculum and community. We have a warm and skilled piano accompanist, as well as two spaces for Eurythmy lessons, one with a carpeted floor and one with a sprung floor.

Salary: $45,150 to $66,137/year prorated to FTE based on experience and credentials
