We process substitute teacher applications throughout the school year.

If you are interested in substitute teaching for us, please submit your resume with a letter indicating your interest in and knowledge of Waldorf education to hrc@vws.ca. We encourage those interested in substitute teaching for us to attend one of the monthly information sessions if possible. Please see our school calendar for the dates of these Tuesday morning information sessions.

• Waldorf teachers complete Waldorf Teacher Training as well as their undergraduate degrees.
• Early Childhood Educators substitutes are fully certified.
• Our substitute teachers are not required to have completed Waldorf Teaching Training but they should have an explicit interest in Waldorf education.

Once we receive your application, we will reply and arrange for an interview.
