Spanish Language Teacher
The Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs is seeking a Spanish teacher for Grades 1-8 to begin fall of 2023.
About the Position
The Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs is now accepting applications for an enthusiastic and experienced Spanish teacher for approximately 14-18 classes per week in Grades 1 through 8. Classes are scheduled Monday through Friday.
The ideal candidate has experience teaching language to students in grades 1-8 and training in, or a familiarity with Waldorf Education. We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, caring individual with a strong work ethic and an ability to work collaboratively with others.
—Graduate degree preferred
—Background or familiarity with Waldorf education preferred
—Experience in teaching beginner to advanced level World Language classes
—Organized, dependable, punctual
—Able to work collaboratively
The Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs was founded in 1981 and currently serves approximately 150 children from preschool through grade twelve. WSSS has an Absolute Charter from the New York State Education Department, is accredited by the New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS), and is a full member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA). Our eclectic downtown campus is spread over three historic buildings, two of which are within walking distance of each other in the small city of Saratoga Springs, NY, while our Early Childhood Forest campus is located on over 300 forested state park acres, 2 miles outside of town.
