Early Childhood Teacher - Housing Provided
Our mountain community has embraced this new program and we are excited for continued growth. At this time we focus on preschool-kindergarten ages, but have plans to expand the homeschool enrichment program to span elementary ages.
Wild Roots focuses on preparing a simple, rhythmic schedule that supports the well being of the growing child. In creating a beautiful classroom space for the young child to play with ease, the rhythm supports daily learning. This offers a secure, healthy, and nurturing environment for children.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated abilities and experience working with young children and their families. They will be intuitive, demonstrate flexible thinking, possess strong classroom management skills, and work collaboratively with their colleagues. Most importantly, they will have a love for the wonder of early childhood and a determination to preserve it for children.
Prior training and knowledge of Waldorf Education are preferred, with the expectation that hired candidates will continue to attend professional development opportunities to deepen their understanding of Waldorf education.
Compensation & Housing
Salary is dependent on experience and ranges between $35,000 - $45,000. We also offer benefits, generous PTO, and opportunities for continued learning.
