Mountain Phoenix Community School (MPCS) 

is accepting applications for a 0.125 (approximately 5 hours/week) 

Executive Assistant to the Board for the 2023-24 school year. 


The Executive Assistant to the Board will have thorough knowledge (or willingness to obtain) of the operations, procedures, rules, regulations, precedents, and oversight objectives of the Board with the ability to interpret and apply that knowledge with good judgment and verifiable trust. A high level of care, sincerity, reliability as well as competence is required. Knowledge of Public Waldorf Educational methods and/or charter schools is desired. The Executive Assistant will work hand in hand with the Board Chair & Secretary to ensure the safekeeping and maintenance of all Board Resolutions, minutes and other formal documents and records of the MPCS Board and/or Board Committees. She/He/They will provide technical, administrative support to the volunteer board and enhance the sustainability of committed volunteers into the future for the betterment of the school. 

Required Qualifications: 

●  Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.

The ideal candidate will have appreciation for adhering to the details of a process & be enthusiastic for working in teams in a collaborative way. It is highly desirable to have had experience on a school-level committee including board membership; particularly if that was completed at Mountain Phoenix Community School.
